Mr. Vivek Pilania
Mr. Vivek Pilania Interim Senior Executive Officer | Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer With over two decades of experience spanning Private Equity, Private Credit, Banking, Strategy, Portfolio Management, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance and Trade Finance, Vivek brings deep expertise in building strategies for financial institutions, driving business growth, and leading end-to-end execution.
His experience spans across UAE and India, with his last position as Head of Credit at Gulf Islamic Investments. Besides this, he has also worked with Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors as Prinicpal – Credit and with SBI Capital Markets Limited as Assistant Vice President, Project Advisory and Structured Finance. Vivek holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from NMIMS, Mumbai, India

Mr. Khawer Khaliq
Mr. Khaliq joined the Bank in 2018 to lead the product function. He currently leads the product development, deployment, and management for the relaunch of the Bank and heading the operations as well. He has almost 30 years of experience in trade and transaction banking with leading banks like Citi and HSBC across Pakistan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. Before joining the Bank, he was the Head of Transaction Banking at Al Hilal Bank, Abu Dhabi.
He holds an MBA degree from Lahore Institute of Management Sciences, Pakistan.
Mr. Khawer Khaliq
Mr. Khaliq joined the Bank in 2018 to lead the product function. He currently leads the product development, deployment, and management for the relaunch of the Bank and heading the operations as well. Mr. David Blake
David Blake is the Chief Risk Officer of Vision Bank, leading the Bank’s Enterprise-wide risk framework, incorporating both financial and non-financial risks. He brings 30 years of experience from both global financial banking groups and technology-enabled financial Services, covering Banking, Capital Markets, investments and payment services. David has held regulated positions for more than a decade working with UK, European and Japanese regulatory bodies from roles in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, and Investment firms, and has chaired multiple senior committees across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.
David has in-depth experience of building out risk strategies and frameworks, whilst transforming risk culture, enhancing transparency, building trust and strengthening a firm’s reputation. He holds an MBA from The Open University Business School and was selected for the Mizuho Financial Group’s executive strategic leadership programme with the Hitotsubashi University Business School. He is a member of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, as well as the European Risk Management Council, and holds various certifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments.
Mr. David Blake
David Blake is the Chief Risk Officer of Vision Bank, leading the Bank’s Enterprise-wide risk framework, incorporating both financial and non-financial risks. Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Advani
Mr. Advani oversees the Finance and Treasury functions of the Bank. He has over 22 years of experience during which he has held various senior finance roles in the banking and financial services industry including Emirates NBD and HSBC across UAE, Bahrain, Pakistan and Ireland. He started his career with KPMG and Ernst & Young in Pakistan and Bahrain where he led various audit and advisory assignments for banks and financial institutions. Before joining the Bank, he was the Regional Head of Financial and Regulatory Reporting, MENAT Finance at HSBC.
He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Advani
Mr. Advani oversees the Finance and Treasury functions of the Bank. Mr. Parag Singhal
Mr. Singhal possesses over 12 years of experience in the technology sector, with a specialisation in software development, distributed systems, and large-scale engineering leadership. He has spearheaded significant fintech innovations at Aumnee, including the development of co-lending platforms, Loan Origination Systems, Loan Management Systems, and Lending-as-a-Service solutions, while managing an AUM exceeding ₹1000 Cr. In his capacity as Head of Engineering and CISO, he has built and scaled high-performance engineering teams, facilitated DevOps-led digital transformations that resulted in a 5x faster release cycle, and ensured compliance with stringent financial security frameworks.
Prior to this role, Mr. Singhal held leadership positions at Mygate, Vedantu, and Amazon, where he spearheaded the launch of multiple 0-to-1 products, executed major architectural transitions, and delivered technology solutions at scale.
Mr. Singhal holds an integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Mr. Abdallah has 18 years of experience in various corporate coverage roles, primarily in Abu Dhabi, where he has developed long relationships with local and regional corporate groups. He has worked with leading regional banks such as UNB, Arab Bank, GIB, and HSBC. His last role was with Finance House, where he was the Head of Corporate Coverage for Abu Dhabi.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Notre Dame University, Beirut, Lebanon.
